Justin Souriau-Levine Studios was founded in February of 2020, at the brink of the global pandemic, by the young emerging French-American filmmaker Justin Souriau-Levine. The company is based at the heart of New York City, with branches in Paris, France and Recanati, Italy.

Justin Souriau-Levine Studios produces independent feature films. The company was founded on the principle of spreading joy to audiences worldwide, and it is well on the course to doing just that.

It all started with the company’s inaugural production “The Greatest Race” (2021), which was entirely shot during the pandemic. Upon its release, the feature had a fantastic festival run; which instigated high acclaim among *Academy members and Festival Directors, in addition to forging an ever-growing fan base.

The feature’s synopsis: An action-packed comedy about a hilarious wacky race that takes twelve lovable misfit teams from Times Square, NYC to Bridgeport, Connecticut during the global pandemic. An overflowing windfall of fun, laughter, adrenaline and color awaits you, as you dive into the world of "The Greatest Race”.

Straight after this festival run, Justin Souriau-Levine Studios embarked on an even more daring journey with the production of “Planet of the Astronauts” (2022), which was shot at the tail-end of the pandemic. This film featured more recognized actors, had a more complete crew, resources and equipment; which led to successfully accomplishing the feature’s desired top-notch look.

“Planet of the Astronauts” had its World Premiere at the Director’s Guild of America on January 14th, 2022. Thereafter, it had multiple pre-release screenings (followed by insightful talkbacks) at Harvard University, Film at Lincoln Center and the LFNY Cultural Center.

The feature had a two-week theatrical release from November 18th to December 2nd, 2022 in various movie theaters across the Northeast of the United States (Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine), most notably at Bow Tie Cinemas.

The feature’s synopsis: A fun-filled adventurous comedy about three lovable astronauts who return to Earth after a failed mission to Uranus, and four years of being trapped in a black hole. They land in a deserted New York City, which they continuously explore; until they coincidentally discover other astronauts, who make them aware of the Covid Twenty-Seven virus and it's subsequent pandemic. The newly founded international alliance of astronauts (and the commander's love interest) aim to cross over to Europe, in search of an Italian doctor and his everlasting vaccine; in order to save humanity.

The company is currently in pre-production on their newest feature film “Back to the Present!” (2024), which is their biggest undertaking to date. The film has a far greater budget, various celebrities attached, beautiful locations set and a fantastic rehearsed ensemble cast; filled with the stars of tomorrow and seasoned professionals. The anticipation ahead of production is riveting, and so is the feature expected to be.

“Back to the Present!” will be shot during the summer of 2023, and have its worldwide theatrical release in the Fall of 2024.

The feature’s synopsis: A government issued science experiment sends five theater actors on a journey through time and space via a virtual reality vortex. They are sent back to the Wild West (19th century), Prehistoric times (50,000 BC), Medieval Times (12th century), The Golden Age of Piracy (17th century), WW2 Prisoner of War Camps (1940s); and sent forward in time to a colorful Parallel Future. But there's a twist - each theater actor must complete three individual quests, before sunset. Those who fail, will be marooned in that time and place forever.

Since its inauguration, Justin Souriau-Levine Studios has been an uncontested harbor for joy. And with its ever growing repertoire, they have embarked on a fantastic journey towards achieving an honorable humanitarian mission… which is to spread joy across the world, via the magic of classic and modern cinema.
