Justin Souriau-Levine is a director, producer, writer, cinematographer, editor and actor known for his most recent award winning feature film "Planet of the Astronauts" (2022), which had its world premiere at the Director's Guild of America in New York City, and a Northeastern theatrical release thereafter; "The Greatest Race" (2021) and “Back to the Present (2025). He is also the Founder and CEO of Justin Souriau-Levine Studios, with which he has produced a half dozen commercials (such as “The Date” and “A Sonogram to Remember” for Vosita Healthcare) and runway videography for Global Fashion Collective, in addition to an array of independent feature films.

Born on September 22nd 2000, Mr. Souriau-Levine is one of the youngest emerging filmmakers in the motion picture industry. Having received high acclaim for "The Greatest Race" (2021) and “Planet of the Astronauts” (2022) from festival directors and Academy members, he has been dubbed as the next "Orson Welles" for his cinematic vision, "Charlie Chaplin" for his slapstick humor, "Mel Brooks" for his comedic brilliance and "Jean-Paul Belmondo" for his charisma and charm. Mr. Souriau-Levine was nominated for Best Director of 2022 and 2023 by Film Threat’s Award This!, while his feature film “Planet of the Astronauts” won the award of Best Movie Under Made for Under $100k of 2022 and 2023, in addition to receiving a nomination for Best Indie Movie of the Year 2023. Mr. Souriau-Levine was also an Artist in Residence at Harvard University and the Lycée Français de New York Cultural Center in 2022, in addition to being named Vice-President of the jury for the acclaimed francophone theatre festival, “Festival Première Scène” alongside Jean Reno, the jury’s President and Ambassador.

Having made his stage debut with American Ballet Theater in 2010, Mr. Souriau-Levine has always been an entertainer. He performed with the country's national company, at the Metropolitan Opera House and Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, along with Washington DC's historic Kennedy Center, Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Tokyo's Bunkamura and Bunkai Kaikan Theaters, and Brooklyn's BAM Theater among others; spanning 10 years of featured roles across hundreds of performances.

During his time at American Ballet Theater, Mr. Souriau-Levine was featured by the New York Times, Fox 5 News, Pointe Magazine, Town & Country Magazine and Dance Spirit Magazine; participated in the NASDAQ opening and closing bell ceremonies at the New York Stock Exchange; and was highly acclaimed by the Washington Post, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Tokyo Shimbun, Haglund's Heal, Dance Magazine, New York Times. He was awarded "Best Child Performer" (2011) and "Best Performances" (2012) by Dance Magazine; and was most notably acclaimed for his tailor-made character "Little Mouse", along with his rendition of "Fritz" in Alexei Ratmansky's "The Nutcracker" (2010-2016), "Nicolo" (Master of Ceremonies), "The Candy Worm", and "Chocolate Chip Man" in Alexei Ratmansky's "Whipped Cream" (2017-2019), and for his featured roles in "The Sleeping Beauty" (2015-2017), "Don Quixote" (2012-2014), "Giselle" (2011-2012), "Manon" (2014-2015), "Romeo & Juliet" (2018), "Swan Lake" (2018), "Le Corsaire" (2012-2013), "Cinderella" (2015-2016) "La Bayadère" (2018), "Othello" (2015) and "The Golden Cockerel" (2016).

Throughout his childhood, he had always been an innovator. In 2012, he founded "Moulin a Café FC", a New York based soccer club and academy, for which he was the technical director, manager, coach and first team captain for 6 years.

His filmmaking career started in 2007 (age 7) when he made his first short film for his own production company at the time, "Dingueling Productions", with which he completed 22 short films (2007-2017), and later three unreleased feature films "Codename Bluebird", "The Roof's Edge" and "The Movers" (2019-2020); before founding "Justin Souriau-Levine Studios" and making his first relevant feature film "The Greatest Race" (2021) which propelled him to high acclaim and recognition as a young emerging filmmaker, with tremendous potential. Soon after, Mr. Souriau-Levine unveiled his newest feature film, "Planet of the Astronauts" (2022) which, fresh off it's successful world premiere at the Director's Guild of America in New York City, had its theatrical release across the Northeast of the United States on November 18th, 2022 (and played through December 2nd, 2022). The popular feature was also screened at Harvard University and the LFNY Cultural Center, where Mr. Souriau-Levine spoke in front of distinguished audiences from the stage, and in a more personal setting at the respective receptions. Having served as casting director and producer thus far, he is currently mid-production on his latest feature film “Back to the Present!”, an epic, groudbreaking, innovative adventure/comedy which is slated to have its worldwide theatrical release in 2025.

Mr. Souriau-Levine has spearheaded the company’s efforts in regards to its latest commercial productions for Vosita Healthcare and Microwize Technologies, which most notably include “The Date”, “A Sonogram to Remember” and “Three Doctor and a Dog”. He also lead his videography team (consisting of JSL Studios crew members) as the In-House Cinematographer for Global Fashion Collective’s Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week runway shows during the Winter/Spring of 2024.

Mr. Souriau-Levine is also commonly praised for the musicality of his work and his eye-catching collaborations with acclaimed composers such as Henry Mancini, Victor Young, Stephen Sondheim, Guillermo Klein, Magali Souriau and Olivia Paris throughout his early filmmaking career. In fact, he is a musical artist himself. In 2019, his band "Yellow Man" released their first album "Beautiful Day to be Alive" and later "Orange Sunset" (2020) reaching thousands of listeners from across the globe.

Mr. Souriau-Levine has also appeared on TV commercials for One.org, and modeled for Kids Magazine, National Geographic and Georgios Kalogeropoulos.

As an actor, he's played the role of Tom in "Planet of the Astronauts" (2022), Jean-Marie and Pietro in "The Greatest Race" (2021), Cameron and Cleo's husband in "The Movers" (2020), Mr. Kitchen in "The Roof's Edge" (2020), Agent Bluebird in "Codename Bluebird" (2019), the lead character in "Toi et Moi, Moi et Toi" (2021) and Abigail's Manager in "Abigail's Dawning" (2020).
