Emily Hobbs is an a casting associate and key advisor at Justin Souriau-Levine Studios.
She is also currently a dean’s list honors nursing student at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Throughout her youth, Ms. Hobbs had always been an active performer. Most notably, she performed off-Broadway in New York City as Marian Paroo in “The Music Man” and Veruca Salt in “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”.
As an actress, she made her screen debut in Justin Souriau-Levine Studio’s “The Greatest Race” (2021) as Catherine Bamford, a British movie star that races for the beloved Romantic Couple team, alongside her lover, Jean-Marie Bordeaux. She then gave her most iconic performance to date, as Lexi (a Covid Twenty-Seven survivor) in Justin Souriau-Levine Studios’ latest feature film “Planet of the Astronauts” (2022), where she plays the protagonist’s love interest, and joins him on his European quest to find an Italian doctor and his everlasting Covid vaccine. She has also recently been featured in two Vosita Healthcare commissioned commercials (produced by JSL Studios), as the Spokesperson in “Three Doctors and a Dog” and Dana (the lead) in “The Date”.
Ms. Hobbs serves on Justin Souriau-Levine Studios’ casting committee as a casting associate. She primarily works in cohesion with Mr. Souriau-Levine, and the rest of the company’s casting team, during the preliminary online portion of casting, as she assists in the pre-selection of actors prior to the auditioning phase. She also regularly meets with the company’s primary team to offer suggestions and implement company strategies.
In recent times, Ms. Hobbs heavily participated in the casting process of Justin Souriau-Levine Studios’ upcoming feature film “Back to the Present!” (2024) as one of the feature’s casting associates, alongside Robert A. Levine and Erin Gorski.
